TOURIST TIP
To pronounce the Scottish 'ch' sound (as in 'loch', 'wee doch'n doris',
'What's up, doch?' etc.), place one half-stick of freshly cut celery
(4¾ins.long) in the mouth, at right angles to the tongue, ans
stand well back from those you wish to converse with.
In summer months rhubarb may be used instead.
